His name in Hebrew is: בלצ Belah’ (beh’-lah) Strongs #: 1106; a gulp.
Known only as "Belah" in Genesis 46:21, but he is known as "Bela" in Numbers, I Chronicles,
Not much is known about Belah, although he may have become a slave in Egypt after
the death of his father and uncles.
The descendants of Belah is a little confusing as Numbers gives a different list
than I Chronicles. Listed in this genealogy is only the sons mentioned in I Chron.
