Notes for Serug:

His name in Hebrew is: שרוג Serûwg (ser-oog’) Strongs #8286; tendril.  In Greek: Σαρούχ Sarŏuch (sar-ooch’) Strongs #4562.

Reu, Serug's father was 32 when Serug was born, and Serug lived to the age of 30 when his son Nahor was born.  After the birth of Nahor, Serug lived to the age of 230.

In Jubilees 11:1, he is known as Serug, but in the sixth verse, Jubilees mentions that his name was changed to Serach.  His name was changed because of the wickedness of men through the acts of the prince Mastema (who is also known as Nimrod).

Jasher also spells his name the way it is spelled in the Bible.

Jasher, Genesis and Jubilees doesn’t say much about Serug, except that he worshipped idols. (40)

In Luke 3:35, it is spelled as “Saruch”.

Notes for Melka:

Melka is only mentioned in Jubilees 11:7 as the daughter of Keher.  She is not mentioned in any other book.
