(Amuram, Huz, Nahor, Terah, ...)

<  137  >

Notes for Uzith:

Uzith is only mentioned thrice in Jasher, so there is not much known about her although she is a distant relative to Gad.

According to Jasher 45:9 she is the daughter of Amuram, and granddaughter of Huz (known as “Uz” in Jasher), but since Amuram is only mentioned once in Jasher, the actual relation in unknown.

Uzith had an older sister, Merimah, it which Gad’s half-brother Naphtali took to wife.

It can be surmised that Uzith went with Gad into Egypt.
